Proximity alarms woke Prowl from stasis early on the 23rd cycle of the year. Thermal scans indicated a troupe of some thirteen mecha approaching from the southeast. Civilian, Prowl deduced by their unorganized formation. Hailing from Nyon, according to their tags. He grimaced as more data filtered in. The hottest of the bunch was doing donuts out front...

Teletran 15’s readouts stopped and started over from the beginning when he paused for too long. Prowl waved the data away. He knew exactly who these mecha were.

There were no hive breakouts nearby, he reasoned. The predacons were still hibernating, and there were no signs of banditry.  He could just as easily monitor them from his stasis pod. This particular group of travelers posed no threat to the base or its structures.

The thought that he could just...wait them out was incredibly petty and very, very tempting.

[notice: proximity {alarm}] The message was punctuated with all the impatience an AI could muster, and the audible click of locks engaging. Teletran 15 was not going to let him go back into his pod with unsupervised mechs running underfoot. It didn’t care if Prowl would rather go and scrape crystals off the backside of a predacon than interact with the lot of them.

Prowl heaved a sigh and pulled up the readouts again, already dreading whole thing. Interactions with Rodimus of Nyon always left him feeling like he stuck his finger in an electrical socket.
